The Great Commission Center of Canada (GCC-Canada) was established and registered with Corporations Canada on March 7, 1996. Praise our Lord for His blessing, GCC-Canada has supported the Great commission Center International in USA through global mission activities to share the gospels to the unreached people in the past twenty one years, helping the believers to establish churches and training the church pastors and leaders to take care for their ministries. In addition, GCC-Canada has closely supporting the publication of the bimonthly Chinese magazine “Great Commission”. We thank our God to use GCC-Canada as a stimulant to stimulate Chinese churches in Canada to focus on global mission and literature ministries.

The Great Commission Center International in USA, the Great Commission Center of Canada and the Great Commission Center of Hong Kong has jointly announced to wind down the ministries in early April 2017. We have received lots of regrets from the supporters and church leaders after the announcement. The Board of Directors of the GCC-Canada had met several times to consider how the global mission ministry would be continuous. After prayers and discussions, the Board has decided to continue the current Roma (Gypsy) ministries in Europe and in Canada; and to change the charitable organization from the “Great Commission Center of Canada” to “Global Great Commission Center (Canada)”at the meeting on September 7, 2017. Praise the Lord! The amendment of the name was approved by Corporations Canada on October 23, 2017.

The Global Great Commission Center (Canada) will focus on cross-culture mission ministries and encourage Chinese churches in Canada to participate on global missions. Please continue to pray, support and participate in the ministries of the Global Great Commission Center (Canada).

加拿大大使命中心于㇐九九六年三月七日註冊成立. 在過去二十㇐年中,經歴神的恩典.神使用加拿大大使命中心參與美國大使命中心,藉著開拓不少宣教工場. 將福音帶給住在被忽略地區中未得之民的族群,協助他們成立教會,並與不同差會跟進和牧養所成立的教會. 同時也參與美國大使命中心雙月刊“大使命”的出版. 藉著開拓宣教工場和宣教文字激起華人教會對宣教的熱忱. 為此我們感謝神.

㇐九九七年四月初,美國大使命中心,加拿大大使命中心和香港大使命中心聯合發出公函宣佈大使命中心“光榮結束”. 不少教會牧長,教會領袖,兄姊們和大使命中心的支持者都對大使命中心的結束十分不捨.加拿大大使命中心董事會多次開會討論“光榮結束”和薪火相傳的事誼. 經過迫切禱告祈求,董事會于㇐九九七年九月七日决定繼續歐洲及本國羅姆(吉普赛)人的宣教事工,議决往後將專注跨文化的宣教事工,並將“加拿大大使命中心”改稱為“加拿大普世大使命 Global Great Commission Center (Canada)”. 感謝主,此次名字的更改,己於㇐九九七年十月二十三日獲得加拿大聯邦政府公司局 (Corporations Canada)註冊批准.

祈求神興起更多華人教會去關注跨文化未得之民的普世差傳,並派遣更多宣教士投入
普世宣教. 請兄姊靠主恩典在普世差傳事工上,為加拿大普世大使命代禱,奉獻,并參與普世宣教.

Mission Statement 使命宣言

To facilitate and serve alongside the Chinese Christian churches and para-church groups for
the progressive realization of the Great Commission, through

a. the transformation of the churches into mission committed churches,
b. the transformation of the pastors/leaders into mission-mobilizing pastors/leaders, and
c. the transformation of the Christians into mission-participating Christians.

為了促進並與華人基督教教會及教會外組織㇐同合作,逐步實現大使命,通過

a. 將教會轉變為以使命為志向的教會,
b. 將牧師/領袖轉變為動員使命的牧師/領袖, 及
c. 將基督徒轉變為參與使命的基督徒。
